Warning: Snapshots ahead....

I'd like to call this. "When you give a photographer a point and shoot camera..."

Hello, my name is LB (Lame Blogger). And I am tired. And lame. And tired. It's back to school here this week, and our oldest son's first week of kindergarten. Which is awesome. He adores, I mean A-DORES his new teacher. So do I. She's adorable, which is why he adores her. I think. That and today, he made it to PURPLE. Which means his behavior was above and beyond great. Way to be Reagan! Mason is also loving it, it's as if he didn't miss a day.

{side note: Mrs. M, if you ever stumble upon my insanely neglected blog, please know my son adores you. And please don't pay any attention to my blatant lack of respect for grammar. Phew. Glad I got that out of the way.}

Ok, so back to my story, "When you give a photographer a point and shoot camera..."

Saturday was my birthday (happy birthday to me) and for my birthday I got a brand spanking new point and shoot camera. I'm sure there are some of you with a funny look on your face right now. Wipe it off by golly! As a photographer, I tend to miss many of the everyday silly moments. It's hard to bust out a camera from a ginormous bag of toys for one silly little shot. I need to have a camera ready for those things, so my amazing (and generously persuaded) husband bought me one for my birthday. And seriously, I was like a kid. With a camera. Have you ever handed your kid a camera? They start taking pictures of nonsense. If it moves, they take a picture of it. Heck, if it doesn't move, they take a picture of it. It's bad. Real bad. And that was me. All weekend. I was a kid. With a camera. And I am fairly certain I annoyed a good amount of people. So, these pictures.....are for my homies. Or not. I don't know what they are for. I am so over tired. But it's my ode to an over worked, under slept girl who got a whole lot of joy out of the random photos she took. I was liberated. For a day. I stuck that sucker on auto, let that flash go, and had a good ole time! And now I'm tired. Again. So, enjoy.....I am off to bed.

I leave you with this beauty. I have a disease. It's called "Can'tlooknormalinfrontofthecameraitis". It's a real disease. Look it up. Ask my mom. I can't make a normal face in front of the camera. I'm shy. Reeeeal shy. Yep.

XOXO,

LB

Megan, my love.... I got a (gasp, wait for it)....CANON Elph something or another. Shocking I know. But I've decided it's the only thing of canon I think they do well. lol I kid. Sorry my canon loving friends. And yes, thank you for reminding me I am one year closer to the big 3-0! ;o)

Briana - thank you, glad to know someone finds my nonsense amusing. lol

Miss Mud - I'm lazy. Hence the spaces. No clue where they came from, but too much effort to fix. Pretty annoying huh?!? lol XOXO
