Most of you got this email, but just as a reminder for my Spring/Summer season....
There's a baby coming soon and it's time to prepare! Bella Amadis Photography will be closed for business all of May-July, and is subject to change with any changes in my health and/or recovery. So, with that being said it is time to start thinking about sessions if you want them. As the nicer weather approaches, the calls and emails have already started to roll in to schedule sessions. I just worked out my schedule and went ahead and opened up March and April for scheduling since it is a very busy season and my growing belly is making it increasingly harder to work. Basically, I have 7 Saturday's open to sessions, all of which will only have 3 session slots open. Here are the available dates:
March:
3rd
10th
17th
24th
April:
7th
21st
28th
**Many slots have already been filled on the dates listed above, I will remove the dates as they fill**
I have also had many of you inquire about bluebonnet portraits, last year the bluebonnets were so scarce we didn't get to do them. But hopefully they will be out this year, if that's the case one of these dates may be dedicated to portraits in the bluebonnets. I will send out those details IF that happens. If you see some awesome spots in the North Austin area, please let me know! Also, please note that May-July, I will not be doing reorders or designs of any sort, so keep that in mind as well.
Sessions in March or April will get $20 off the session fee and 8 Complimentary Wallets with a minimum purchase of $75. That's a total value of $40 savings!
Also, if you would like to order from a session that took place before February 1st 2007, you will pay no reorder fee ($25) and get 8 complimentary wallets with $50 minimum reorder.
Last, and super exciting, as this is something that I NEVER do...Normally you can purchase the copyright release and cd of your session for $500 for up to 40 images from a single session. This gives you full personal printing rights of your portraits. If you would like to purchase the rights to your session that took place before February 1st, 2007 you can do so for $350.
All sales end April 30th.

These moments melt my heart
Seriously, don't let the images fool you. He is so stinkin cute, and looks so squeezable...but it's kinda like a wild animal - you can't get too close. lol Most of you have met my youngest son, Mason. When we found out Mason was to be a boy, I thought I knew exactly what to expect. Because after all I was already raising a boy, and was most definitely a self pronounced boy raising expert. Then he came. So sweet, soft, pure. He looked just like his daddy, and every bit of him melted my heart just like Reagan had. Yep, this would be a peice of cake. Right. No one ever mentioned to me that just because they are the same gender doesn't mean they will have the same demeanor. Reagan was an easy baby, super passive. Mason, is well....apparently just like me. Reagan looks like me, acts like his dad. Mason looks like his dad, acts like me. I am doomed. And last I checked there is only room for 1 hard headed, strong willed person in this house. (guess I better move) :) But even with his strong will, and determination to do the things he maybe shouldn't...he melts my stinkin' heart! Sometimes being a photographer I forget that I am still a mom who can take average shots of my kids. It's hard to put the photographer in me away with a camera in hand. So, today I was determined to take some shots for ME. Technically perfect? Nope. My best work? The pictures - no, the kids - yes!
